Technology today is advancing at a rapid rate.  Organizations are often forced by market conditions to continuously upgrade hardware and software systems while current staff struggles to maintain the skill sets to manage the new systems optimally.

Starnet bridges that gap by maintaining an engineering staff that is constantly being exposed to, and trained in,  leading edge technologies. We strive to keep the skill sets of our engineering staff ahead of the curve so that when a customer needs to implement a technology to improve security, operational efficiency or competitive advantage – we are ready.

In addition to simply making our skilled engineers available for these purposes, we do so under an engagement model (SOS) that serves the customer well.

Under SOS we charge no fixed retainer fees. Customers simply pre-pay an agreed amount and the fees are  accrued as our engineers perform services. There is no time limit for accrual and the  prepaid dollars never expire.

We provide a monthly detailed accounting statement of all accruals so that customers can keep close tabs on their SOS spending, including time, date and work performed for each accrual.

Under SOS our engineers are dispatched as needed without concern for signatures, purchase orders, credit holds or any other business processes that can get in the way of us helping our customers in the quickest time possible.

SOS -Gold

For customers looking for Ongoing Services from Starnet structured to be more strategic, we offer SOS -Gold.

SOS -Gold provides customers a blend of services invoiced at a fixed rate on a quarterly basis.

SOS -Gold includes:

  • $2500 worth of Starnet Ongoing Services (SOS)
  • A Quarterly Strategic Objective Project Plan and 4 hours of project execution
  • Remote Monitoring of 3 Servers under our StarWATCH offering
